Rocky Point Cemetery, Gold Hill, Oregon
Rocky Point Cemetery was established in 1874 when J. B. White donated 26+ acres for cemetery purposes. The first trustees were Benjamin Haymond, Fred Birdseye, and J. L. White. Due to lack of successors, the cemetery was left to the public in general, which over time resulted in a forgotten place. The cemetery was cleaned up and reestablished under the supervision of Mrs. Icie Walker in 1955.
